The Hoppy Dice is a social night pop-up event. It is designed to introduce people into board games or get them back into the hobby, while creating a new weeknight tradition. The pop-ups will be hopping around your favorite bars and breweries in San Diego. The Hoppy Dice’s vision is simple: Every Night is Game Night.

Free play with 15-25 games to start, before expanding to include Learn-2-Play nights and tournaments. The Learn-2-Play games will be facilitated by a game master. More info to come soon!

July 2026 is starting with the inaugural pop-up! The goal is to have pop-ups 2-3 times a week, Monday-Thursday throughout San Diego. Check out our Instagram to see the most updated schedule!

The idea is that they will never stop and The Hoppy Dice will continue to expand! From 1-2 events a week at the start to multiple events a night around the city, The Hoppy Dice wants to get you board gaming!

Yes! The free play is totally free. Learn-2-Plays may have a small cost attached (TBD at the moment).
