The Hoppy Dice is both a vision and a social night. It is a vision of a community-driven, beer and wine board game taproom featuring local craft beer, quality food, and a curated game library. It is currently designed as a board game night pop-up hopping around San Diego’s bars and breweries. One day the vision and the social night will blend!

July 2026 is starting with the inaugural pop-up! The goal is to have pop-ups 2-3 times a week, Monday-Thursday throughout San Diego.

The idea is that they will never stop! Once the taproom is open, they will likely slow down. Until then, The Hoppy Dice will continue to expand!

Free play with 15-25 games to start, before expanding to include Learn-2-Play nights and tournaments. The Learn-2-Play games will be facilitated by a game master. More info to come soon!

Yes! The free play is totally free. Learn-2-Plays may have a small cost attached (TBD at the moment).
